You would be surprised how many people I speak to who are prospects looking to change their bodies/lives who actually say they are looking to get into shape before they work with a Personal Trainer. These people start off with good intentions, which is the reason they initiate the call and we congratulate their effort, but they lose sight of what a Personal Trainer actually does. You have to look beyond what you see on TV on the “biggest loser”, Personal Trainers are trained to take an individual that is completely under-exercised and help them improve their conditioning and transform their body. Therefore it is not necessary to come in “in-shape” before working with a Trainer. Rather prospective clients should focus on the plan that your Trainer will create to help you accomplish your goals.
